A very nice painted Scene of Corf Castle, Dorset with trees in the foreground and ruins of castle running up the hill. With yellow border decorated with birds and Insects. Marked to back with blue crown over D which I believe is for the 'Derby' porcelain factory. I believe this dates from the early 19th Century maybe 1820? Also marked in blue script - Corf Doreset. Condition - No Chips, Cracks or Restoration. Wear to gilt edges and internal gilt borders. The central panel in pretty good condition with two flakes to paint one top right in tree branches one middle left in tree branches. Size - 9 1/4 inches diam, (23.5 cm) Corf Doreset (Now spelt Corfe - shows the castle which is still standing) Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer
