EXTREMELY RARE (The reserve is set at $222.22 just so the Buy It Now stays for a few days.) I will entertain all serious offers so make an offer. If you are interested in this ticket make an offer. It has been advertised elsewhere. Think of this as an investment because once Jeter gets his 3000th hit the value of this ticket will increase dramatically as well as the interest in this ticket. ONLY 2 FULL TICKETS HAVE EVER BEEN AUTHENTICATED FULL Ticket to game in which Derek Jeter got his FIRST MLB HIT. May 30th, 1995 You may verify on that only 2 of these tickets have ever been authenticated by looking at the population report. The Population Report reflects that there are only TWO of these full tickets known to exist. I have only seen one of these tickets on Ebay before and the person has it listed with a Buy It Now of $50,000 and it's a stub, not a full ticket. I highly doubt you will EVER see a full ticket listed again. If you are a collector of sports memorabilia, a Yankees collector, or a Derek Jeter collector then it doesn't get much better than this. Imagine the value of this ticket after Jeter gets his 3000th hit. He's only 74 hits shy of 3,000. Think of the rarity of this item. To own a ticket from any 3,000 hit player's first hit is amazing but none will be more valuable than Derek Jeter's. Many have speculated that if anyone has a chance to break Pete Rose's Hit Record it would be Derek Jeter and if that happens then the ticket from the game in which he got his first hit would be priceless. Jeter just signed a three year contract with a player option for a fourth year. Let's say he averages 200 hits a year over those 4 years. That would put him at 3700 hits. Jeter would only need another 3 years to break the record held by Pete Rose. It's a longshot considering his age but if there's one player that can do it, it will be Jeter. In addition to the ticket from the game in which Derek Jeter got his first MLB hit I am also including a ticket to the game in which he tied Lou Gehrig's all time Yankees hit record (September 9th, 2009) and a ticket to the game in which he broke Lou Gehrig's all time Yankees hit record (September 11th, 2009) PLUS I am including a New York Post Newspaper dated May 30, 1995. On the back of the newspaper in bold letters it reads "Jeter Arrives for Yanks". Below is a link which describes the game in which Jeter got his first hit: /sports/baseball/yankees/2009/09/07/2009-09-07_derek_jeters_first_yankees_hit_victim_tim_belcher_recalls_being_impressed_early_.html Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional photos. I will entertain all SERIOUS offers. I've received numerous questions regarding why I would sell such a valuable item with no reserve price set and other questions asking if I'd be willing to trade for other memorabilia. Sorry, while some of the trade offers are very tempting the reason why I'm selling the ticket, and hoping that it goes for a high price, is because my wife and I have exhausted all of our medical insurance for fertility treatments so now I am starting to part with material items to help pay for one more round of IVF treatments. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thank You.
