Stunning large soup tureen from Italy, with sunflowers and corn. This is a perfect tureen for the coming fall / winter season. Very earthy feel to this piece in both the colors used and the decor. Their is one sunflower that is on lid of the piece to act as a handle for lifting, the handles on the side of the tureen itself are leaves. The detail in this is amazing - if you can see in the picture the shading in the corn stalks and intricate attention to detail. The soup tureen without the lid measures 11" tall, almost 15" long from handle to handle, almost 11" wide and the tureen itself just about 6" deep. This would hold a very large amount! The ladle is 13" long. A true showpiece for your table! A new piece, free of any chips - If you would like additional pictures or information on this piece, feel free to email me.
