A new design... Amber a antique replica by Jamie Taylor... This little gal I named Amber. I have been trying to get a bear to look like this for a while. I was so tickled when I got this one done...she was dying to come meet you all! She is truly unique and floppy...very very floppy. Amber is 23" tall and started out with gold teddy plush. I stained and shaved her...stained her some more until she looks like something that came straight out of a trunk in the attic. She is fully jointed and they're very loose and floppy. Everything about her is floppy and droopy...but she feels wonderful to hug! She has a pronounced hump on her back and her little arms and legs are long and skinny...and she has a center seam head as well. I gave her a pair of glass flat style eyes and a sparse black embroidery floss nose. I was going to tie a ribbon around her neck and call her finished..but then thought I would slip this antique shabby ratty dress on her. I tied a little gold ribbon around her head as well. The dress is a mess..it's very very old and has holes and is stained...the hem is ripped out..and it's a general mess. I see things like this and I fall in love...I prefer things old and distressed.
