Hello true believers!I'm back again with another great comic to add to your ever-growing collection of key issues. Here we have a copy of Detective Comics #359. The first appearance of Batgirl! One of the most important characters to be added to the Bat-Family, Barbara Gordon has proven herself worthy of donning the cape and cowl time and time again.From the Bill Dozier TV series where she came roaring through the opening credits on her motorcycle, to her prolonged existence in the DC animated universe, Barbara Gordon aka Batgirl will forever remain a fan favorite. With the timeless Killing Joke getting the DCAU treatment, talk about Batgirl is going to be a-buzzing. Recent gossip has the critically acclaimed Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Bronson, The Neon Demon) expressing great interest in directing a Batgirl movie. Oh my.....if only it could be so.I am an avid comic book fan. I've been collecting comics for the majority of my life. I keep all of my comics bagged, boarded, upright in a longbox away from sunlight and in a smoke-free environment. I worked in a comic book store for two years where I would grade and price comics for sale.
