Medal in the form of a map of North America in bronze, suspended from a top bar with a panorama of the city of Detroit, and the motto "Detroit, Michigan." On the North America pendant is a signpost with the date "1913" and two crossed signs saying "American Roads" and "Congress." A souvenir of the American Roads Congress held in Detroit in 1913 to support efforts to build America's cross-country system of highways. approximately 90 mm overall height.
