I have just listed a couple of books about the area just to the north of Detroit, Michigan and have come to realize that the book lot I acquired lately includes any number of books related to this great city. Here, for your consideration, are a few more, this time related to the Detroit Edison Company, beginning with this rather scarce one (only print on demand copies found online): "Kilowatts at Work--A History of the Detroit Edison Company." This large book was written by Raymond C. Miller, Professor of History at Wayne State University in Detroit, and published by the Wayne State University Press. It is a First Edition, dated 1957 with the same date on the title and copyright pages. This large and handsome hard cover book is bound in a blue denin cloth with a half white cloth covers and silver gilt titles and decorations on the cover and the spine (please see the photos). It measures 7 ½ x 10 ¼ inches and contains 468 pages.
