PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PICTURES APPEAR DARK AS THEY WERE SHOT IN DIFFUSED LIGHT TO BETTER CAPTURE THE DETAIL OF THE PATTERN. Being offered in this sale is a CLEAR, heavy flint, early American pressed pattern glass cream pitcher in the DIAMOND POINT pattern that was made by the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company circa 1850s. It is one of more than a dozen pieces in this pattern that I just aquired from a local estate, all of which will be listed individually for sale today on Ebay. This piece measure 6 1/2" tall and is roughly 7" across from handle to spout. The base diameter is 4 3/16". It has a fabulous thick applied handle with the excess at the base crimped and curled up (4th & 6th images). The condition is MINT. T are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. In addition t is no interior surface residue. The man who assembled this collection was extremely particular about condition. T is not so much as a flake on any of the pieces in this collection.
