Partial set of this very popular series by the Walter H. Hohnson candy Company issued in the 1930s - Dick Tracy Caramels. 14 of the cards are the much scarcer Willard's Chocolates variety. Included is the tough card #1. This series is particularly tough to find in quantity. Only 12 of the cards are from the relatively more plentiful last series (121-144). All the rest are from the much tougher low number series!
Condition of this near set is in the VG range, but some have minor soft creasing. Others would probably grade better than VG. Nevertheless, this is NOT and investor grade group of cards. Buy them because they are cool, not because you want to retire off the profits when you sell them! he photo is reasonably representative of the set condition as a whole. Pictured are 20 of the first series of cards (#48 and below). Cards to be shipped in plastic pages for protection. Winning bidder to pay $8.00 towards postage. Any insurance or other special fees are at the winner's discretion and will require extra postage. This is a great opportunity to purchase the lion's share of a very expensive set at an affordable price. Be sure to check out the very high grade singles from this set that I am currently offering on eBay!! Thank you very much for considering my auction. Please feel free to check out my other listings currently for sale under seller ID USNASCOUTER. I combine shipping, so should you win other items in my current auctions, you will receive a reduced postage rate. GOOD LUCK with your bids and remember - BID HIGH AND OFTEN!!!!
