Dickens' LYNTON POINT TOWER , MIB, Retired in 01

Department 56 Dickens' Village Series

Lynton Point Tower

The first lighthouse ever introduced in the Dickens' Village, it "beams" with pride. Nothing adds to the charm of a lighthouse like a foggy night and no city is more famous for its fog than London . In ancient times lighthouses were kept aglow with a giant bonfire on the rooftop. Lighthouses today are functional but serve as popular tourist attractions as well.
