This is a classically designed Vintage American Art Pottery Vase marked Dickota on the bottom. It is glazed with a matte pink with white stippling. The handles curve nicely before rejoining the side of the vase. It stands approximately 5 1/3 inches in height when standing. The bottom is clear gloss over yellow clay, with crazing to this glaze at the bottom of the piece only. The word Dickota is engraved on the bottom beneath the glaze in a hasty freehand manner. T are no cracks or chips . The only imperfections are a small dot of missing glaze about the size of a pinhead that was obviously made during manufacture, and two rough places ( clay is actually rough and bumpy) the size of large nailheads on the interior which are also presumably factory flaws. These flaws are not noticeable when displayed. This is another item from the estate of my grandmother, who was a collector of many types of antiques, especially pottery and glass. Please stop and look at my other auctions, and t will be more to come in the near future. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding to all!
