This is the early Dietz square tube brass "Star" lantern/lamp with the two piece fount.The lantern/lamp is embossed on the cap above the globe "Dietz No 0 Brass Tubular" also embossed with two star emblems, also has patent marks on the bottom of the fount ; first-81, last-88.The burner wheel is embossed "R. E. Dietz Co.".The lantern/lamp is "as I bought it", no visible stress cracks, no dents, one tiny ding on a tube.The lantern/lamp has a clear globe embossed "Dietz No 0 Tubular New York U.S.A., Minor rim chipping, good average condition.This is the best brass Star lantern/lamp I've ever seen, I don't think they come any better than this one.The lantern is complete, appears to be in working condition but I have not tested it with oil.Buyer to pay shipping & handling based on postal zone at 8# rate, includes insurance.Please email with any questions.
