Double marked New York New Haven & Hartford Dietz Vesta, Very Good to excellent condition. No large dents to detract from the condition. The globe is stenciled and has no crack or large chips, some flea bites on the rim. The base bail has a small bend which is easily straightened . the only flaw I can find is one of the burner cone retainers on the fount is a bit wiggly and could use a small dab of solder (shown in last pic). The green paint of the bottom of the fount I have no idea why, I bought it like this. Last patent date is S-12-41 (Syracuse factory #2 June 1941). This is a extremely nice lantern and is a great addition to any Northeast RR collection. This is a extra from my collection which really needs to be thinned out a bit , I will be posting more lanterns feel free to check back once in a while. Thanks for looking.
