HORNBY DIGITAL TRAIN SET This is a private sale inviting serious bids for a full digital (DCC) train layout with track mounted on a 6 x 4 ft board and a range of 7 trains, carriages and trucks. Most of the rolling stock has its original box for storage. The set up includes: · the Venice – Simplon Orient Express, with the 3 illuminated Pullman carriages. · the Hogwarts Express with its 2 carriages and station building · the 70 th anniversary gold plated edition of the Mallard · the Falcon · the Tunbridge · a blackened British Railways engine with no name · Duchess of Sutherland and its 3 Northern Belle carriages · 2 LNER carriages · 3 coal trucks · 4 Pullman carriages – Lucille, Agatha, Rosemary and Car No. 88 (note these are in addition to the 3 supplied with the Orient Express) · 6 x 4 board with track · box of spare track · DCC controller, enabling several trains to run at once All the trains have had digital chips fitted, allowing the controller to operate more than one train at a time. The whole setup (with the exception of one train) is in full working order and the track runs smoothly. The exception is the Duchess of Sutherland which is not in working order.
