For sale is the Digitech RP255. A compact butvery versatile multi-effects unit, which contains everything a bedroom orgigging guitarist could possibly wish to have from such a piece of gear. Apart from the numerous amp simulations, effects, presets etc, it has a headphone socket for silent practice, an auxiliary input, so you can jam along with a CD or mp3 player and a USB port so that you can connect it to a computer for easier editing via DigiTech’s X-Edit™ software as well as for recording. It also has a built-in expression pedal, a drum machine and a 20-second looper. I have had it for a rather short time and I have only used it occasionally at home, so it is in excellent condition. The only flaw I can see is a slight discolouration on the top of two knobs, which I have tried to show in the photos. Apart from that, it is in as new condition cosmetically and fully functional. It comes with user manual and original power supply, although I no longer have the box it came in. If you wish, I can also send you my own version of the manual, which I have created to facilitate learning the different function of this unit, as I have found the original manual rather difficult to follow.
