's a vintage Dikeman Cabinet Scraper that has never been used. This along with some other items I bought was some of the things that were put in storage back in the 1930's when a hardware store closed. This is the king of scrapers. It is an engineering marvel. It is built so well, that in my opinion it would be next to impossible to abuse or break it when used in the manner it was intended for. The cutter blade measures 3" x 4-3/4"x 1/16" I do not beleive it has ever been used. Factory edges are nice and crisp. A few light scratches on the cutting blade as you can see in the photos. For all practicle purposes, this is as close to mint as you'll ever see and just about impossible to find in this condition. Besides cabinet and furniture surface finishing, this type scraper will work very well for floor refinishing by getting all the way to the corners. Please, eMail me with any questions.
