An excellent, estate-found vintage 1960’s DINKY SUPERTOYS 987 ABC TV MOBILE CONTROL ROOM, with box. Offered with no reserve! In addition to the van, there is a cameraman, camera and length of cable (the ends of which fit neatly in the two holes in side of the van for hook-up). The vehicle measures 2-2/4” high x 5-7/8” long x 1-7/8” wide; the cameraman & camera measure just under 1-1/2” high each. A fine quality and well made toy vehicle - the van alone weighs a substantial 9 oz., the box retains the original price sticker of $2.10. There are no chips, nicks, cracks, breaks, touch-ups or repairs of any kind. No discernible wear to the original factory paint on the vehicle, man or camera (just some wear to the lettering above the windshield and on the letter V on the left side (most likely from where it lay in the box as there is a 1-1/4” x 2-7/8” factory paper insert/protector that covers the windshield to prevent the man & camera from scratching the van where thy fit snugly against that area for storage – and for shipment to the new owner). The box is structurally intact but has some light age soiling including a slight surface only stain above the graphics of the horserace on the top of the lid – minor, (see photos).
