Description Beautiful Natural Jet Specimen. Measures approx. 2.75" x 2.50" x 1.50" thick (from the widest points) and weighs 170 gr. Jet is organic in origin, and is also known as black amber, although it is not actually an amber, but rather fossilized wood. Like coal it is formed by the remains of wood that has been immersed in water for millions of years, then compacted and fossilized. When burned or touched with a hot implement, it often exudes the characteristic smell of coal. Spiritual and Healing Properties of Jet:Jet is known to work synergistically with Moldavite, and can assist those who are trying to do void meditation work.
