These five dolls represent the Dionne Quintuplets, who were born in Canada in 1934 and created a world-wide sensation. They are each 4" long and all of them are in identical pink blankets. Two of the five have dresses underneath. These are bisque, jointed dolls that are very reminiscent of the Kewpie dolls. They each have painted faces and their mouths are slightly open. They are in their original box, which measures 5" x 9", and has wonderful graphics of the period. There is some wear to the dolls due to being played with. Also included is a vintage Karo Syrup advertisement from 1937 featuring the actual Dionne Quintuplets. It measures 10-1/4" x 13-1/2", is wrapped in cellophane and in mint condition. This is quite an addtion to anyone's doll collection. S&H not included in the price.
