Up for auction is a wonderful piece of Disney limited edition art. I have owned this piece for a long time, and now when sold it will help fund a trip to Disneyland for my family. We used to go every other year but have not been back since 2001. A lot has changed and I now have a five year old that has never been. Please read the description below and additional information regarding the art at the bottom. This hand-painted animation art cel from "101 Dalmatians," featuring Roger, Anita, Pongo, Perdita and all the Dalmation puppies around the piano, singing "Dalmation Plantation.".

's what the Certificate of Authenticity has to say:
The original cels used in the production of One Hundred and One Dalmations are no longer available from the Walt Disney company. Thus, Disney artists have recreated the artwork from this feature using traditional animation tecniques. The originl animation drawings were transfered to accetate "cels" by a special six-step xerogradhi process. The artists then hand-painted each of the cels in the edition with Disney approved acrylic colors.

The background scene for this cel has been faithfully reproduced from the original production background, which has been conserved in the Disney Archives. The resulting artwork has been printed on premium-quality paper by Color Service, Inc. of Monterey Park, California.

The edition which was published by Disney Art Studios in 1992, consists of a general edition of only 500, numbered 1/500 to 500/500, and 25 publisher's proofs, numbered PP1 to PP25. T are no signed cels. This recreated cel set-up is from Sequence 17, Scene 64 of One Hundred and one Dalmations.

This is a beautiful piece of limited edition Disney art. This piece was originally purchased from The Owl Gallery in San Francisco on 9/26/1992. The purchase price was $1650.00 as you can see by the picture of the original receipt. This original receipt will be provided but it will have all the personal information blacked out for privacy. Also included is the certificate of authenticity. I have to apologize for the quality of the pictures as they do not do the art work justice. The piece is just beautiful in the triple matted custom silver frame. It is ready to be hung and put on display. I have one other Disney piece up for auction. Good luck and happy bidding.
