For Auction: This vintage, original 15 piece tea set for Disney. It is lithographed tin made by the Ohio Art Co. Bryan, Ohio. This USA company is the premier manufacturers of old tin toys. These pieces are part of the most collectible of all Mickey Mouse Tea sets, called "HELPMATES MINNIE AND MICKEY" . It was made for Disney in 1934 by the Ohio Art Company. The 3 plates depict Minnie standing on a stool washing dishes while Mickey is talking. Note both have tails. Mickey is happily drying dishes and smiling at his Minnie. The 5 tea cups show Mickey with Pluto the dog and Minnie with a black cat, The 6 saucers show Minnie and Mickey dancing, and the creamer/pitcher shows Minnie playing the piano and Mickey is dancing with a top hat and cane in front of the theater lights. All pieces are marked Walt Disney. The pieces are in good condition with some wear to the paint, particularly at the edges and the bottoms have the most wear, which is expected on painted tin toys almost 75 years old. T are some dents, mostly on the saucers. All in all very good for play-with toys. You are buying the exact items in the photographs.
