Up for sale is the famous and long sold out 50th Anniversary Model of the Walt Disney´s Nautilus. It comes complete in its original box and with the certificate. This item was always kept in the box in a smoke-free home and was never displayed.

CAPTAIN NEMO'S NAUTILUS SUBMARINE FROM DISNEY'S "20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA"

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of ''20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,'' Disney created this 1/96-scale replica of the Nautilus, the most accurate representation ever offered in a Limited Edition size of only 1000! Sold only online at or in the Disney Catalog in 2004.

Cast in resin, this very special 22 inch long model is a fitting tribute to the artistic vision of Harper Goff, who designed Captain Nemo's submarine for the film.

The upper deck and wheelhouse above the water line are based on the full-sized sets used in the film, while the body of the ship is an exact replica of the 11-foot long miniature (displayed at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida) down to the last rivet!

The Nautilus rests on a specially designed wooden base and is internally illuminated as it was in the 1954 film (battery not included).
Dimensions: 7.5 inches high by 22 inches long.

The brass plaque on the stand features a quote from Captain Nemo: "THE SEA IS EVERYTHING - AN IMMENSE RESERVOIR OF NATURE W I ROAM AT WILL"
