2003 Disney Collectable 75 Years With Mickey Silver Proof Medallions .999 Fine Silver This Gem Quality Fine Silver Proof Set of 6 Mickey Mouse Medallions were produced by The Postal Commemorative Society under license from Disney. They are all sealed in plastic coin cases and none of them have ever been opened. The 6 Coin Cases are fit into a Dark Blue Velvet Case for easy storage and display. For more than 75 years now, Mickey Mouse has been delighting and enchanting audiences with his antics and adventures. These Medallions depict 6 of Mickey's finest moments in the following films: 1928 - Steamboat Willie 1938 - Brave Little Tailor 1940 - The Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia 1941 - The Nifty Nineties 1983 - Mickey's Christmas Carol 1990 - The Prince and the Pauper You will also get the booklet that came with the set which gives you a brief summary of each film. Each Medallion is struck on the front with an color image of Mickey from each film, the name of the film and the date of release. The backs of each coin is struck with the year 2003, Mickey's face and .999 Fine Silver. Each Medallion is struck using 1 ounce of .999 Fine Silver.
