Two mice of the Rescue Aid Society search for a little girl kidnapped by unscrupulous treasure hunters. Animated by one of Walt's Nine Old Men (Ollie Johnston) and voiced by Eva Gabor, this film is based on two of Margery Sharp's books, The Rescuers and Miss Bianca . Ollie also animated Mr. Smee in Peter Pan and Mowgli and Baloo in The Jungle Book . The song Someone's Waiting for You was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Song. Mint Condition . This a large cel ( 13.5" x 16.5" ) with original studio matte (16" x 20"). The studio imprimatur on the front reads: 'Original Hand-Painted Movie Film Cel Certified Walt Disney Productions'. Some of you may remember that you could buy original cels in Disney World on Mainstreet in one of the art stores. That is w this came from.
