Disney at the Worlds Fair" 8" x 10" photo. Signed by 6 Disney artists and Imagineers at a special Disneyana show held in Anaheim, California. T were only 75 of this photo issued and signed by the 6 imagineers who were the guests of honor at this show. In the center of the photo are the letters "WED" which stand for Walter Elias Disney. "WED" was the name Walt first used for his newly formed creative department. In the early 1960's Disney was approached by several organizations to create attractions for the 1964-65 New York Worlds Fair. Disney ended up creating the Magic Skyway Ride for the Ford Motor Co., The Carousel of Progress attraction for General Electric, the Animatronic Abraham Lincoln for the Illinois State Pavillion, and "Its a Small World" for UNICEF. In the photo starting at the center and going clockwise is Walt in front of two New York Worlds Fair Posters, Walt with the models for the Small World Attraction, Walt with models for the Ford Motor Co. Magic Skyway Ride, Walt with scale model of the Abraham Lincoln exhibit, and Walt with the preliminary artwork for the Carousel of Progress. This photo is signed by the Senior Vice president of Disney Imagineering Tony Baxter , as well as Legendary Disney Songwriter Richard Sherman.
