This is a great, extremely hard to find COMPLETE set of 100 plus 3 pins from the Countdown to the Millennium Series of pins from the Disney Stores back when the Disney Stores were actually owned by Disney. This collection is arranged in order of release in a binder that was issued for the pins. The front of the binder features Mickey Mouse peering through one of the zeroes form the new millennium. This fantastic collection includes all one hundred pins that were released by the Disney Store at the rate of three or four pins each week in 1999 until the Millennium arrived. Each pin represents a significant milestone in the life and works of Walt Disney, primarily the release of a Disney film or cartoon. Each pin is numbered on the reverse. These pins were extremely hard to find since t were a limited number of each released each week. Guests had to stand on line, most days well before the stores opened and hope to purchase one pin each. It was extremely hard to actually collect every single pin! If you win this collection, t are actually three BONUS pins you will receive! One is the corrected pin of the Davey Crocket which was originally released with an error. You will receive both the error and the corrected pin. Secondly, you will receive the final pin released for New Years of Mickey Mouse with a spinning banner that turns from 1999 to 2000. Lastly you will receive a Cast Member Exclusive pin which was give only to Disney Store Cast Members. The pin features Mickey and reads The Disney Store. This is one fantastic collection of pins.
