Limited edition pin of 1000 commemorates the special 2005 Panama Canal Crossing by the Disney Cruise Line's Disney Magic ship. The Disney Magic sailed from WDW Florida to DL California from May 14 to May 28, 2005 and returned August 20 to September 3, 2005. This Super Jumbo pin features the logo especially designed for the voyage - designed by Disney Design Group Artist Michelle Morrow. T are several pin-on-pin elements including the palm trees, the banner and the Disney Magic® Ship. This gold pin is sort of shaped like a Mickey head. Top reads "Disney Cruise Line". T are circles on both sides with pictures of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Disneyland, and Cinderella Castle, Walt Disney World. In the center of the pin is a cruise ship on the ocean with palm trees on either side. On the bottom of the pin is a blue banner/ribbon which reads "Panama Canal Crossing" and the dates of the two cruises on either side. This pin is MINT in it's Original wooden box - a great framed shadow box for display. The pin is on a blue suede mat and the plexiglass is frosted to highlight the JUMBO pin inside. Also frosted is "PANAMA CANAL CROSSING 2005". The back on the wooden framebox is blue velvet with GOLD embossed DCL logo PANAMA CANAL CROSSING 2005 LIMITED EDITION OF 1000.
