Ernest S Marsh Railroad Lithograph: This commemorative lithograph was created by Disney Artist Charles Boyer It is the Disneyland Train Ernest S Marsh Inaugurated July 1959 Lithograph released only at Disneyland Limited Edition of only 250 It features the Ernest S Marsh Steam Engine and tendor in front of the Disneyland Main Street Station as we imagined the restored Baldwin would have looked back on July 25, 1959, the day it made its first debut revenue run with Chief Engineer, Walt Disney on the throttle Limited Edition 250: Artist: Charles Boyer Title: "Ernest S Marsh-Inaugurated July 1959" Character: Disneyland Train with Walt Disney at the Throttle and a family taking pictures below as it was like the first day of operation in July 1959 Edition: Limited Edition 250 Image size: 32" tall x 24" wide Medium: Lithograph, tiny crinkle in lower left which would be hidden by frame, tiny but wanted to note About Charles Boyer: In 1960, Charles Boyer accepted a "temporary" job at Disneyland and stayed for 39 years. He is a Disney Legend recipient and master illustrator Charles has the unique distinction of having been Disneyland's first full-time artist, and in the 45 years since his hiring has become Disneyland's master illustrator - an artist who has captured in his work the unique and fanciful spirit of Disney characters and theme park environments. During his 39 years with Disneyland, Charles has produced nearly fifty collectible lithographs, as well as a diverse range of artwork for magazine covers, brochures, and flyers -- even Company-commissioned oil portraits for retiring employees. He has worked in all media including pastels, oils, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, pencil, and ink. Prolific in his work, Charles's works are sought after by collectors around the world.
