Evil Queen Marionette by BOB BAKER from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Limited Edition of only 500 & SOLD OUT!You are bidding on a Walt Disney Classic piece of "Evil Queen Marionette" from Walt Disney's First Animated Feature film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" in 1937. This Marionette, the Evil Queen is VERY RARE and HARD TO FIND piece of art which now retails for over $1,800.00 if you can find one on the Secondary Market. They were numbered limited edition of only 500 and sold out. BOB BAKER: At 18 Bob Baker working with George Pal doing stop motion animations for Puppettoons. in 1937 he worked with Robinson Dept. Stores doing display windows and developed a puppet show of Snow White & the 7 dwarfs prior to the movie release. In the 1940's he began manufacturing his own puppets for over 50 department stores. Spruced by abet in 1944 Bob Started his own puppet factory in a garage in L.A. During the 50's he had his own TV Puppet Show, "The Adventures of Bobo." He then went on to work with Walt Disney to create window displays for the opening of Disneyland. He was also creating Disney marionettes and has since been the only creator of Disney marionettes since the early 1970's. Throughout the years he worked with a wide variety of people, some include, Ed Wood, Sid & Marty Krofft, Brothers Buzz, Rene, Turnabout Theatre, Pee Wee's Playhouse and Gumby. In 1962 with partner Alton Wood Bob opened his own puppet Theatre and workshop, The Bob Baker Marionette Theatre. To this day the theater's workshop still hand crafts all it's puppets, t is an inventory of over 3,000 puppets currently. The Theatre still performs daily puppet show and is the longest running puppet Theatre in America. It is in EXCELLENT condition and COA with additional official papers It will be professionally packed for the new owner. Also, it comes from smoke-free house.
