DISNEY MONORAIL PLAYSET GOLD STRIPE VERY RARE MIB This auction is for a hard to find and rare Disney World Gold Stripe Monorail Playset in mint condition, box is in great shape too. This version is very popular and the most sought after color along with the Purple stripe. This is the 50th Anniversary Edition, henceforth the Gold Stripe (you so rarely get to use the word "henceforth" in a sentence and not sound pompous, oops, too late!) Ideal for collectors. Included in this set are over 14 feet of track, 12 curved and 2 straight, so you can make a circle or an oval display. It makes a 5 foot by 4 foot length of track. It also goes forward and reverse and has the now famous saying in a built in recording "Welcome to Walt Disney World, please keep your arms and legs...you know the rest! It automatically repeats at approximately one revolution each time. You can shut it off and still run the Monorail. What a fantastic train for your display or a gift for the Disney fan in your house!
