Complete Set of Five DTV Disney Television Music Videos VHS TapesAll are designated as being in Stereo.Any advanced Disney collector knows about this almost forgotten series of tapes. Made from clip segments taken out of Walt Disney animated cartoons and films and set to the music of popular songs, each tune was initially utilized on the original television broadcasts of the Disney Channel.This was when they showed all the fantastic vintage material, and many newer animated series such as Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, and Duck Tales, and TaleSpin. Whenever they showed a program, it was run in its entirety, without commercial break, and the extra time at the end of any program segment was filled with self-promotion, ads for other Walt Disney and Disneyland TV shows, and if one was lucky, a DTV song or two! You could never be certain when or which one was going to be shown. This set begins with the first three video tapes, Pop & Rock [705VS], Rock, Rhythm & Blues [706VS] and Golden Oldies [707VS], all issued in 1984, and which all collectors know are pretty scarce, but reasonably simple to acquire. However, added to those three are the incredibly rare Love Songs [720V], and the almost non-existent Groovin' for a '60s Afternoon [722V].By default, all copies of these last two videos found anywhere should be former rentals, because none were ever sold to the public, except years later when a video store bit the dust.
