Some of the pins that are traded on eBay can be pretty high in cost. After you purchase these little gems, you don't want to just hide them away! I have collected all the Piece of History pins and made sure the pins and cards were in the absolutely best condition available. I wanted to display them without fear of dust and dirt getting into the little nooks and crannies of the pins or settling on the cards. I found the perfect display case for the Disney pin collections that comes in a series of twelve. The case you see in the first picture holding all 12 pins and cards in the first PoH set (it might be a little hard to see because it is CLEAR plastic) is 13 1/2" wide by 9 1/2" tall by 2 1/2" deep. It has a lid (which is part of the 2 1/2" measurement) that is attached to the case with two metal hinges. I've cut and sewn a placemat into the right shape and size and placed it in the bottom of the case and pushed the pins through the cloth and re-attached the Mickey head clutch behind the cloth to hold the pins and cards in place. The display case is absolutely perfect for twelve-pin sets such as the 'famous' "Piece of Disney History" series. This auction is for the complete set of Piece of Disney History pins #1 which includes: #1 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, the card and pin are in mint condition #2 Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, card and pin are in mint condition #3 Muppet Vision3D, card and pin are in mint condition #4 Maelstrom, card is in excellent condition, 2 left corners are very slightly bent so they are not perfect corners, the pin is in mint condition #5 Dumbo The Flying Elephant, card is in excellent condition with a slight bend in the card over the pennant Dumbo is carrying, the pin is in mint condition #6 Festival of the Lion King, card and pin are in mint condition #7 Jungle Cruise, card and pin are in mint condition #8 Test Track, card and pin are in mint condition #9 It's Tough To Be A Bug!, card is excellent condition with two corners very slightly rubbed, the pin is in mint condition #10 Peter Pan's Flight, card is in excellent condition with lower left corner slightly rubbed, the pin is in mint condition #11 Splash Mountain, card and pin are in mint condition PLEASE NOTE; We only had 12 slots for pictures and I thought it was important to show one picture of the entire set in the display case. A picture of the last pin, Spaceship Earth, described below, is available and I would be happy to send it to anyone who wants to see it before making a bid. #12 Spaceship Earth, card and pin are in mint condition All pins are perfect!
