Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket Figurine Not Sure of Maker - Perfect Condition - Older Figurine I'm a totally honest seller, so I'll describe this as best I can. The figurine is approximately 4" X 4" X 4". It's in perfect condition...no chips, cracks, and never been repaired. I'm at a point in my life w I absolutely need to downsize, and eBay has really helped. You can see by the photo that Pinocchio is marked "Geppetto's Pottery." It also looks like it says "Walt Disney," but I'm not sure (the photo is about as clear as the actual marking, so see for yourself). I've tried to get some information on Geppetto's Pottery for a long time but been unsuccessful. I figured at some point someone would list a similar figurine. T is currently one on eBay, and it's described at being Brayton's Laguna Pottery of Laguna Beach, Calif., and made in 1939. My figurine appears to be exactly the same, with only some minor color differences. My figurine, however, has no Brayton markings on it. Perhaps it was made by Brayton to be sold at Disney in California??? Anyone have any further information? I can tell you exactly when and w I obtained it. I was married in 1968, and went to a house sale that year at the home of one of the wealthiest girls from my high school class. I actually just wanted to see the inside of her house, but it started me on a long career of estate/yard sales. Anyhow, this was the only thing I found t that I liked that I could afford, so I bought it. At the time of purchase, I recognized it as a quality piece and already being old, so I figued I got a really "good buy." I've kept it in a glassed cabinet since then and always enjoyed looking at it. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, but I've pretty much said everything I know about it. Insurance is included is shipping charge.
