Today, I am auctioning off Walt Disney's very rare Princess snowglobe entitled "Frost Fairies". This is a wonderful and perfect globe. But what makes it so valuable is the song that it plays is "Once upon a December" from the 20th Century Fox 1997 animated movie, Anastasia ! It has long been stated that only about 100 of these globes made it into production. This wonderful piece is about 9 inches high and about7 inches in diameter. It also uses 2 AA batteries to lightly illuminate the base with wintry blue (see photo). As with most all globes, this item has an air bubble. It is about the size of a 50 cent piece (see photo), but is hidden under both the blue woodland creature and the frost glaze that covers the top of this beautiful globe! This is a phenominally wonderful item; and as anyone who is looking for this globe knows, they are rarely ever offered! This globe is also in perfect condition, and comes in its original box. It will be very carefully and securly packaged for safe arrival to your doorstep! Becuase of the error and the low number of production, the Disney trader magazines do not list this globe. In fact, over the 13 years I have owned this globe, I have only seen a few of them ever offered on ebay; and they sold for hundred of dollars! I will start the bidding at .99 with a reasonable buy it now option. If someone bids; then highest bidder wins! Oh, The 'glitter snow' inside the globe is not clumped together... The shipping for this fairly large and heavy piece is $25 which includes insurance and delivery confirmation. Unfortunately, there is no international shipping available. US Shipping only! A little about us... My wife, kids and I are months away from entering the Pastorate on a full time basis. We have been avid disney fans and collectors for the past 20 years! When I say collector; I do not use that term lightly! We amassed at the peak of our collecting which ended in 2009; a collection of over 170 rare snowglobes, 550 WDCC pieces, almost every Disney Olszewski piece he made (including the entire Disneyland collection). Plus, about 35 piece of rare, hand painted and/or limited edition artwork! (I am being conservative). We started liquidating this collection last year to both pay debt obligations, and to minimize what we will be able to take with us. I mention this to let you know that if you are thorough enough to read this listing, and are looking for anything; please just ask! I do not have a list, but if there is something specific you are looking for; just let me know! Also, I do my absolute best to ensure that my listings are accurate. I hold myself to the highest standard of integrity and do not ship broken pieces nor misrepresent my listings. I have a decent camera and have attempted to take as clean of photos as possible!
