!!!!!DISNEY COLLECTORS!!!!!! This is the most Enchanting and Exquisite set of Spice Jars Ever! **A MUST have set for yourself or as a gift for a special lady who loves to cook!** THE COLORS ARE SUPURB! THE DETAILS ARE IMMACULATE! This the Lenox Disney set, issued in 1995, in sets of 2 over several months. Each jar is a soft off white ivory crafted of fine china accented and trimmed with 24 karat gold, handcrafted in Malaysia. The lid has the name of the character. The lids colors are Lavender, Fuchsia and Blue trimmed in Gold. Each Jar lid has the original seal to keep the spices fresh. Each Jar Features Walt Disney's most beloved classic characters and a scene from the movie. On the reverse side is a short history of the movie and character. Measurements are: 3.75" x 1.75" On the bottom of each Jar is the official Lenox inscription as follows: WALT DISNEY SPICE JAR COLLECTION FINE PORCELAIN HANDCRAFTED IN MALAYSIA Lenox/1995/Disney The jars were issued in sets of two and are packaged as such: Nutmeg & Horseradish Mint & Parsley Mustard & Pepper Celery & Caraway Chives & Dill Garlic & Rosemary Allspice & Basil Sage & Thyme Cinnamon & Onion Tarragon & Marjoram Curry & Oregano Bayleaf & Ginger The jars have not been out of the boxes until now for pictures. They are protected by plastic and packaged in the original Styrofoam boxes. A slip on cover with the spice names covers the Styrofoam, and are inserted into heavy cardboard boxes for further protection. This set originally sold for $500.00. I had purchased this set in hopes of passing it on to a Niece. BUT 7 boys later-----By the time, my son has children they probably will have digital controlled spice dispensers. It is a shame to keep it stored. I will ship tp Canada!!!!!!
