" STEAMBOAT WILLIE " 1928 This shadowbox art was created by Animated Animation LLC and is a three-dimensional electro-mechanical representation of a scene from Walt's original black & white film. This limited edition was produced for a single year. The plates and screens were produced in 1998. Conforming to the practice of fine art printing, the screens used to create this edition were destroyed upon its completion. The background layers were lithographed onto a premium quality stable medium. The characters were serigraphed onto polycarbonate and then each was die-cut for maximum aesthetics & movement. Based upon a centuries-old tradition of clockwork automation, a team of Animated Animations artists and engineers created the mechanisms that bring this art to life. Adults, as well as children, will be fascinated by the movement and music of this delightful piece! Certificate of Authenticity from Animated Animations included. ( R equires four C-batteries--not included due to potential damage to art in shipping. ) Professionaly packaged and shipped.
