Just in time for the holidays is this auction for one of the most desired Disney Store plush figures ever released, the jumbo-sized Stitch. Released in 2002, the release year of "Lilo and Stitch," these rare pieces were sent out as only one per a Disney Store, back in the days when the Walt Disney Company still owned the Disney Store. That means that only a handful of these wonderful pieces featuring the very popular Stitch character were ever produced, with even less surviving in the wonderful condition this piece is in. The plush toy depicts Stitch, the blue alien called Experiment 626, disguised as a cute dog. Stitch is posed seated, with arms and legs outstretched. He measures approximately 34 inches in height from his bottom to the top of his head in this position - A manufacturer's tag on his bottom reads: JUMBO STITCH AS DOG 40", making him the largest Stitch stuffed toy ever released and truly a huge piece that any child or adult fan would love to have and enjoy. He retailed for $125.00 US as also noted on the manufacturer's tag, but he has greatly exceeded this value in previous eBay auctions. Stitch is in excellent condition, just as purchased from the Disney Store in 2002. He retains his original Disney Store exclusive tag and was sold without a hangtag as is usually found on Disney plush animals. He has been carefully stored in a smoke-free and pet-free home, owned throughout his life by an adult collector and Disney fan. He shows no wear, damage, or condition issues, just as fresh and new as the day he was purchased from the Disney Store. This large format plush is so rare that it has not appeared on eBay in the last several years, making this a rare opportunity to own a truly rare and wonderful piece featuring Stitch, a Disney modern-day classic!
