Rare Disney Villains Chess Set Limited Edition #824-Horned King, Chernabog, NIB This is a rare special limited edition chess set, featuring playing pieces modeled on the most infamous Villains from classic Disney animated features. You don't see this set on eBay every day.. I'm the only owner of this set, I purchased it in 1997 for $395 with the intent of displaying it in my home. Well, best laid plans as they say, it never got displayed and has been in its been stored in my smoke free home office in the original box ever since. This even comes with and will shipped to you in the original box it was shipped to me in. I have never taken the pieces out of the box, I've only opened it to look at it when it arrived and to take pictures for this auction. I did unfortunately break a corner unpacking it 25 years ago, and the is a small shipping dent along one of the edges. See pictures. This set is made up of: The Queens are the Wicked Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) and Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty (1959). The Kings are Chernabog from Fantasia (1940) and the Horned King from The Black Cauldron (1985). The Bishops (two each) are Jafar from Aladdin (1992) and Scar from The Lion King (1994). The Rooks (two each) are the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland (1951) and Ursula, the sea witch from The Little Mermaid
