This Fossil watch was made especially for the Walt Disney Collectors Society in 1997 with an actual backstamp of the 'music stand', which was the backstamp for the WDCC figurines made in 1997. The face of the watch has a beautiful emerald green background with the collectors society representation of Jiminy Cricket. It bears Roman numerals for numbers, in gold color and reads, Walt Disney Collectors Society in script across the center (also in gold). The bezel is goldtone and the wristband is brown leather ~ stamped on the back " Genuine Leather, HONG KONG and is stitched. It is about 9" long. The back of the watch has the same Jiminy Cricket / Walt Disney Collectors Society imprint as the front and around the top it reads: Made Exclusively For , and , underneath the center, JAPAN, FOSSIL, Disney . It bears the Music Stand backstamp center-left. I believe this is battery operated and the little plastic protector at the stem is still in place! The vinyl protectors are still on the face and back of the watch. It has never been worn, and really, until I photographed it, I'd say, never taken out of the box. The box in which it came is even neat...with Jiminy in bold and gold line drawings of many Disney characters all over it, Mickey as the Sorcerer's Apprentice on top. This would be a really, really neat piece (present) for any WDCC collector . Have fun bidding! You'll be glad you did. {think: ~~~ Christmas present! ~~~ }
