What a SUPERB FIND! This rare Pin is exceptional! The pin itself is approximately 1.5" long, white background with WED outlined in Gold and the pin itself gold edged. The back of the pin reads "c. WED ENTERPRISES 1952". Along with the pin, a card is included, with the pin attached describing what WED stands for. WED was a privately owned company formed by Walt Disney in 1952. It was made up of the best and most dedicated artists and engineers which he recruited to work on his long time dream of a magical little park. He dubbed these creative and talented individuals "IMAGINEERS" and called his little theme park "DISNEYLAND". In the mid 1980's WED, which stoof for Walter Elias Disney, became what is know today as WALT DISNEY IMAGINEERING! OWN A LITTLE HISTORY ... be part of History!
