This is a Framed Set of Pressed Quarters from WALT Disney World 2000. Retired Limited Edition Framed Collection Set #61 of 100. This is a RARE MINT CONDITION SET. ONLY 100 of These Were Ever Made! It includes 17 Retired Pressed Quarters from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. They are called "The First Coins of the Millennium." Mickey and his friends are included in the following wonderful designs: A demure Minnie Mouse in dress at Disney's Contemporary Resort (2000); A "Show Off" Goofy at the Polynesian Resort (2000); A sweet Minnie holding an umbrella on park bench at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (2000); A dancing Chip AND Dale at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (2000); Mickey sitting on a log at Disney's Wilderness Lodge (2000); A Laughing Donald Duck at Disney's Yacht Club Resort (2000); Pluto playing Frisbee at Disney's Beach Club Resort (2000); Mickey & Minnie in a Jungle Cruise boat at Disney's Old Key West Resort (2000); Mickey Mouse playing banjo at Disney's Dixie Landings Resort (2000); A Jesting Goofy on a Unicycle at Disney's Port Orleans Resort (2000); Pluto & lobster on his tail at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort (2000); A Formal attired Mickey and Minnie Walking at Disney's Boardwalk Villas (2000); Mickey cooking on stove wearing a chef's hat at Disney's Institute (2000); Donald Duck as a baseball player at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort (2000); Goofy playing saxaphone at Disney's All Star Music Resort (2000); Movie Director Mickey at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort (2000); & Mickey with Donald exploring at Coronado Springs Resort (2000). All the coins are vertical and they all have detailed beaded borders. T are nineteen openings; 17 with coins and 2 have a Mickey Mouse Ears silhouette engraved into quarter-sized oval aluminum blanks (in the top two corners). Its beautifuly framed & exquisitely double matted in a gray weatd wood-look. The photos only do this piece little justice - it is WONDERFUL!
This piece has been kept in the box and never hung. We are the original purchasers and it has only been taken out to look at a few times and for the photos below! It is BRAND NEW with No Damage or Fading . The center has a picture of quarters, and is overprinted with WDW 2000 Walt Disney World Resorts and numbererd 61/100. Pressed on 1965 and/or later quarters. Ready to Hang! The back has a Certificate of Verification that reads: TITLE Millenium Resorts Pressed Quarters Set EDITION NUMBER 61 EDITION SIZE 100 DATE OF PURCHASE (left blank) Dimensions: 15 x 19 1/2 x 3/4".
