This item is a true Disney collector's item. Anybody that loves trains as much as Walt did would love to have this item. Over the years the Railroad badge has changed. This is the current version. Badge: · Attaches to the cap worn by the Disneyland Railroad Conductors. · Engraved across the top " Disneyland ", Castle in the middle, and "Conductor" across the bottom. All painted in blue. · Made of metal and shined to a mirrored finish. · Approximately 5" by 4" and is slightly curved to fit when attached to the cap. · Is in great condition, some signs of being used is visible. History Note: Railroad Badges Badges were used by railroads to both designate authority and indicate employees's occupations. Almost all railroad employees used cap badges to designate occupation as a part of their uniforms. Railroad badges generally fall into two major categories: cap badges and police badges.
