DISNEYLAND VINTAGE SCHUCO ALWEG-MONORAIL TRAIN & TRAIN SHELLS
One of the most collectible Disneyland toys every produced, the Schuco Disneyland Alweg-Monorail Systems, from November 1961 to the autumn of 1968! Made at the time in Western Germany, these toy electric trains are legendary in the world of Disneyana! I am reducing my enormous collection of these toys for the very 1st time after 23 years of collecting, this one amazing electric toy train! I will be offering here a 3 - car red train for sale, plus SIX train shells, 1 for the engine cars and 5 for the rear cars, in red and silver! The engine shell in the picture are the ones with the slot on the right side of the train shell, the other three do not have this slot for the A/B lever, to change the way the engine picks up the electrics, either from the right or left side of the track rails! The train here is a red train in fair to good condition! It does work, I tested the motor and it surely DOES FUNCTION! The train has been thoroughly cleaned, with NEW WHEELS ON THE ENGINE AND REAR CAR, NEW BRUSHES, NEW LIGHTS, AND TWO NEW TOP RAIL PICK - UPS ON THE ENGINE AND ALSO ON THE REAR CAR! These trains are now 50 years old and to refurbish these toy train engines is becoming extremely difficult due to scarce part replacement availabilities. So you can either run this train, or use it for parts for your own collection? Any questions are welcomed! Starting at a low price so a novice can start their own collection! Sorry, no returns. m O
