Beautiful Handcrafted Display Platform for

Christmas or Winter

Department 56 Halloween Collectibles

*No Reserve! *

Greetings! I hand make the following for Dept 56 Collectibles:

Display Platforms: standard-sized platforms that coordinate and visually connect with each-other to create stunning spans of displays in 2 feet increments

Display Islands: One-of-a-kind scenic all-around display centerpieces

Custom Displays: custom-designed displays specifically for your collection or your retail storefront window

Hopefully you had a chance to see my other Christmas or Halloween displays sold on eBay this season (if not, check my website links below for photo albums!)

For Christmas/Winter displays, I make 2 different design styles:

One design style that best suits the North Pole, Elfland, Peanuts and Rudolph collections Another design style that best suits the Christmas in the City, Dickens, New England, or Snow Village collections

Sadly, I don't know if I'll have a chance to post more displays on eBay this year, as I have a number of orders to fulfill, but I hope to post maybe one more later in November, or early December.

I love this display to the point that I kept my design templates to be able to make more of them, but only next year as I am fully booked for this year. Price for it will be $235. T his is a chance to get this wonderful display for this Holiday season, starting at 1 penny, so don't miss it!

This auction is for:

Christmas by the Waterfront

Scene for Christmas in the City, Dickens, or Snow Village

This scene is reminiscent of any cities that have a historic district by a waterfront. I picture myself by the stone wall looking out at the water, with a cold wind rushing in the city, just around Christmas time enjoying the variety of shops, restaurants, people going from place to place, happy to enter a warm establishment with Holiday music playing. What a joy!

This beautiful display platform has the following features:

I've been asked many times to offer larger displays, and this is one...You can fit up to 10 buildings on this display! (My pictures show 9 buildings, the 5th Avenue Shoppes piece is large). See all the pictures to get display ideas! Built using lightweight foam, measures approximately 36" long by 24" deep, 6" at highest point. It is scenic on the front and sides, thus looks great standalone or can be integrated into an existing village Up to 10 building pads at the following sizes: Top-back level:

up to 5 pads measuring 7" wide x 6" deep

Bottom level:

2 pads on the left side of the staircase measuring 7" wide x 7" deep and 7 " wide x 6" deep

2 pads on the right side of the staircase each measuring 6.5" wide x 6" deep

1 pad in the very front-right side of the display measuring 9" wide x 6" deep

These sizes leave room for the sidewalk or street in front of each building. For width, of course you can do a different combination, such as using a wider building with a narrower building than the sizes specified above

The back of the display is open for easy access to wires (see photo). Each building pad on the lower level has a hole to conceal the electrical cords (cords for the pieces on the top level don't need holes as they just hang off the back). The holes are large enough to also pass through the typical Dept 56 battery box for accessories such as lighted lampposts, trees, etc, in addition to building cords. I include white blanket pieces and snow that can be used to hide holes if necessary. Beautiful water scene with half-frozen water edges and hand-carved stone walls, random-stone walls and staircase Extensive use of Dept 56 Cobblestone material for the roads or walkways. The center top pad at the top of the stairs is also covered in cobblestone , in case you would like to convert that area into a small park or town square for example The building pads and other areas are covered with simulated snow using a special adhesi...
