Ditzler Automotive 1960s Medcalf Pin-Up Calendar Poster Original vintage 1960s Ditzler Automotive Finishes pin-up girl advertising poster. Illustration shown with signature by well-known pin-up artist, Bill Medcalf. Features a beautiful blonde woman and dog in the foreground and a car in the background. Still includes the metal strip at the top and bottom edges, as well as the little tab at the top for wall hanging. Tiny print says: "c. B&B USA" [Brown and Bigelow] Local business is printed at bottom: "Economy Wholesale Supply, Minnesota Mining Regal Binks Shatterproof Glass, Grand Forks - North Dakota" Calendar is no longer present. Measures 22" by 46" Condition: FINE. Some light horizontal creases and one deeper crease across the bottom third, an edge stain on the lower left edge, a small tear on the left edge, several small subtle repairs on the back, light wear or aging throughout, light sunning of the illustration. Poster will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube. Artist BILL MEDCALF: Medcalf's pin-up work, like Elvgren's, set standards for artistry and imagery for his contemporaries.
