Up for bid is a rare Delaware Lackawanna & Western Railroad Company Signal Book. Titled " Instructions governing the use of Automatic Block and Interlocking Signals Effective December 16th, 1900. This is an early signal book, I can't recall seeing another one this early in my 30 years of collecting. Book is a total of 30 pages. It covers General Rules for Enginemen and Trainmen (related to signals), Blck Signaling Definitions, Block Signal Rules, Interlocking Definitions, Rules for Operation and Maintenance of Interlocking Plants. Lots of neat diagrams including banjos and semaphores. Nice early signal book, for the signal fan or DL&W fan. Several Pictures attached. Condition is very good used. I was suprised how solid this is for the age. Feel free to ask questions, Insurance is optional and extra however, we are not responsible for loss or damage when insurance is not taken. That being said, we have not had a claim in 8 plus years. We do try to package things well. I'm doing some cleaning so keep watching for more. Shipping is set at $3.00 in a padded mailer envelope.
