Dobro style vintage resonator guitar with a spider bridge. Wood body. Dobro ceased production and contracted Regal of Chicago, Illinois USA to manufacture their designs which started in 1937 and ceased at the outbreak of war in 1941. Neck has some bow, but guitar still tunes up to 440 pitch and the action is not too bad, please see picture of the penny at the 12th fret to determine if the action is good for you. Original sunburst finish with some scratches and painted on binding. This guitar sings, and if you tune it for slide, blues or Hawaiian, you will like its sound. "V" shaped neck with 12th fret neck joint. Headstock came unglued in the past where the splice is on the slotted area, and a previous owner glued it and for good measure put a screw in on the back of the headstock to make sure it did not come apart again. The repair seems solid, however not pretty. There are no cracks in the wood body or neck that I can see. Some minor, light scratches here and there on the back of body and side. Tuners are orginal and hold tuning good. Still a pretty cool, old hound dog Dobro style guitar that is great to play the blues on. No case. Please ask all questions before bidding. Sold as is. No returns. Payment must be received within 48 hours of close of auction. I ship to confirmed ebay adresses only. I sell and ship within the United read more
