Written by actress Sophie Aldred who played Ace between 1987-1989 when the series was cancelled and Mike Tucker that worked on visual effects and eventually co-wrote many Seventh Doctor and Ace novels with writing partner Robert Perry. The two of them share their memories of working on each episode. Fellow co-stars and crew also share memories. The book has a large amount of behind the scene photos, storyboards, detailed diagrams and features extensive coverage of each episode.
