This framed Document reads; Be it known that Albert Bissell has been duly admitted a member of the Sons of the Revolution in right of the services of PRIVATE JOHN PARTRIDGE BISSELL Connecticut Meliltia in the cause of American Indipendence during the War of the Revolution In testimony whereof the names of the proper officers and the seal of the Society are hereunto affixed.
