Description: 1892 and 1895 West Shore Railroad Time Tables for Passenger Trains At Auction are 2 West Shore Railroad Time Tables, one February 1892 and the second dated November,1895. These 2 documents are printed 2 3/4 years apart so you can observe that the railroads' schedules expanded during this time. These documents are probably condensed versions of the larger Travel Guides. I am not certain how often these Time Tables were published, but more than once per year. These 1875 and 1889 New York Central & Hudson River Railroad Official Pocket Time Tables of Passenger Trains have these characteristics: Materials of Construction:Both documents are printed on the front and back of the paper.The 1892 document is like a book or brochure with a cover printed on heavy gray paper and the inner contents are printed on off white paper.The 1895 document unfolds like a map into 10 sections on each side. A map "showing Terminal Stations of the West Shore Railroad and Ocean Steamship Docks of New York City, Hoboken, Jersey City & Brooklyn" and then opens up into a large color map entitled "The Popular Through Car Line / Between The / East and West / New York, Boston, Chicago, and St. Louis / The Niagara Falls / Route.
